Strategic training centers of the armed forces, as critical components of a nation’s defense and security infrastructure, play a pivotal role in developing competent human resources and conducting scientific research. This study aims to identify mechanisms to mitigate the vulnerability of these centers to terrorist threats. This applied research employs a descriptive-analytical design with a qualitative approach and inductive reasoning. Initially, the scientific literature and relevant theoretical frameworks were reviewed. Subsequently, interviews were conducted with 30 experts, each with a minimum of 20 years of experience in terrorism-related fields. Data were collected using both library and field methods, with semi-structured interviews and detailed note-taking as primary tools. Data analysis was performed using MAXQDA2018 software through three coding processes: open, axial, and selective. The findings highlight the growing significance of cyber threats as the most frequently cited concern, followed by bombings, suicide attacks, and biological and chemical threats. Based on these findings, the study proposes effective measures to reduce vulnerabilities, including strengthening cybersecurity and providing continuous training for staff and trainees.
