Designing a model of political relations between Islamic society and the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran by Focusing on overall defense based on the pattern of three ramifications

Abstract

Results of previous studies show that political relations between the armed forces and society in the world is very different. Accordingly, this study aimed to investigate the role of the foundation, subject and scale model of the three political relations ramifications on society and the armed forces is done.
The study is a multi-level mixed approach in terms of purpose and terms of the population in this study were 70 experts and universities and the armed forces. In the first step (qualitative study) was the first study and related research documents, After categorization relations based on research, the interviews using purposive sampling method developed by 10 experts were interviewed. In the quantitative phase of research, after extraction of the identified factors, designed questionnaires. Then the results of the study population tested and the final model was fitted by LISREL software.
The results show that the three points. First, the main variables of the study, there is a significant positive relationship. Second, the ramifications were identified in these three factors scale, subject and based in order of priority, have the greatest impact on relations between Islamic society and the armed forces; Finally, operating scale, the greatest impact at the national level and the theme of greatest impact on confidence and empathy has the greatest impact on operating basis. In the Islamic government military interference in politics should be participation (cooperation) and to deal with any threat, influence and increase deterrence without entering into any political and partisan categories country.
