Network - centric strategic control model for defensive industries of Islamic republic of Iran

Abstract

Using the capabilities of research and development in the country in the form of cooperation networks, as the approach of "core - network", one of the most important approaches to defense industry to meet and adapt to rapid and enormous environmental changes and needs ahead and that it convert from a centralized hierarchical organization to an organization's key core and deep widespread relationships with National centers. But the lack of a comprehensive and integrated pattern control between defense industry and network of national partners, causes the lack of the stable and secure relationship among them. The continuation of this situation may damage the stability, security and success of defense industry cooperation with the National section. This research has developed literature of management and control theory department of defensive, and to define the most important factors influencing successful interaction with colleagues national, the evolution of the current state of strategic control in the defense industry and create suitable background for the coordination and synergy between defense industry management and  surveillance  bodies.This Research has been done to achieve strategic control of defense industries according to network approach and extensive cooperation with national partners. This study was conducted to answer this question that "what are the factors and components of strategic control of network-centric defense industries?" And in terms of the goal and nature; descriptive, considering the results and achievements; applied- development and in terms of  method; mixed. We have used a documentary method to achieve the main aspects of the network-centric strategic control of defense industries, a survey and interview with experts to complete and validate the model, and factor analysis to test it. 140 senior managers from industrial, research organizations of ministry of defense of Islamic republic of Iran were involved in study statistical analysis. The Sample size was determined by 104 people according to Morgan's Table.
The questionnaire was designed with 30 question about variables and the conceptual model was designed by 5 factors and 20 components. Experts confirmed Formal and content validity of questionnaire and it's stability was confirmed by Cronbach' Test. Data was analyzed by using interview and questionnaire was analyzed by using content analysis , descriptive statistical techniques( Frequency, frequency percentage ,cumulative frequency and histograms chart) and deduction statistical techniques (Factor analysis, mean comparison test with constant, Friedman test, Kolmogorov-Asmirnov test, binomial test).
The results indicate that internal renewal of defense industries factor with 4 components place in rank 1, results and strategic goals of defense industries factor place in rank2 with 4 component, strategic assumptions and strategic dynamic place in rank 3 with 4 components, cooperation capacity of defense industries factor places in rank4 and finally ability of defense industries factor places in  5 rank .
