Abstract
Islamic Republic of Iran also, as the most significant Shia Government the Shias in its neighbor country as important and affect the natural environment and it has its own security and to consider it in its long-term strategy.
This research, following the library and document- based study as well as the comments obtained from the experts by surveillance method wit applying the survey questionnaire technique, was settled and due to its objectives is of the applicable researches.
The statistical population includes the defense experts of military forces or the other official authorities in the government as well asthe specialists in the field of the Iraqi Shias. The sampling was of the type of the non-probability and the judgmental sampling with the sample size of 44 persons. The data analysis was carried out via the descriptive statistics method.
The research findings reveal that the quantity and the dispersion of Shias in the strategic regions of Iraq and the role playing in taking the power is the most substantial factor for making opportunity besides the cultural weakness and the history records of being away from thesovereignty of thehuman geopolitical potentialtharat factors of the Iraqi Shias for the IRI's Defense Strategy Codification.
