Team leadership merits in security organizations

Abstract

Background and purpose: At present, teamwork in organizations has been of great value & Furthermore, There is no desirable outcome in teamwork without appropriate and balanced leadership. Actually, Teams do not have guidance or helm without effective and efficient leadership. Meantime, Leader role in the security organizations is of great importance in promoting actions and activities, because of functions, missions and special culture of these organizations and prorate, The need for effective team leadership in security organizations creates desirable in team and organizational performance. This study formed to assess team leadership merits in security organizations
Method: In this study, Using descriptive- analytic study method, The analysis has been used to collect documents and a questionnaire is designed with 37 criteria and was completed by 196 members of statistical society, Questionnaire's reliability has been confirmed by Cronbach's alpha test, also to analyze research data was used of Chi & Friedman's  Statistical test.
Findings: Collaboration and Coordination, Support of staff, Insight and Sagacity of leader, clarification and justice, Honesty and trust, Effective and continuous communication, The combination of mighty and liable team, And Confidence and courage, Respectively, are the main merits of team leadership in security organizations.
